Boarding

A Safe, Nurturing Environment

Boarding is an integral part of school life, a home away from home where students learn physical, mental and emotional independence. This new found confidence will help students to be pro-active in all aspects of life and also will gear them for their careers ahead.

The boarders (boys) are housed in Shashi Block. The students are accommodated in newly renovated modern dormitories set in a historical building according to their age and house. The dormitories are spacious and right with all amenities including recreational and lounge rooms, internet and twenty-four hour power and security backup. The principal, estate supervisor, kitchen I/C , housemasters and PTI s live in the campus in a separate block known as staff residential quarters.

The schools house to which the student belongs to include:

  • Mainwaring House (Red) – Ever Onward, Ever Forward.
  • Judha House (Blue) – Modest in Victory.
  • Doutre House (Green) – Be Ye Valiant, Be Ye Strong.
  • Edward House (Yellow) – Unto Thyself be True.

A separate Girl’s Hostel is also being renovated in the campus. Boarders live in the heart of the school and have access to excellent facilities – basketball and other sports court, and indoor gymnasium and spacious playgrounds and outdoor spacious. Academic facilities include the Library and Technology and Resource Centers, which are open for the students for their projects.

Our boarding tradition embodies Cambrian Halls’ founding vision and ongoing commitment to provide excellent pastoral care and enhance our students’ learning and life skills.
