Cambrian Hall School Hosts Intense Inter-House English Debate Competition
Cambrian Hall, renowned for its commitment to fostering academic excellence and instilling effective communication skills in its students, organized an exhilarating Inter-House English Debate on the 28th of July 2023. The topic of debate was “India's huge investment in cosmic missions like Chandrayaan 3 despite facing socio-economic challenges, is unjustified.” Held in the Mainwaring Auditorium, the event pitted talented young scholars from different Houses against each other in a battle of words and persuasive arguments.
The competition followed a structured format, with participants representing each of the four prominent Houses at Cambrian Hall. The teams, consisting of two speakers from each House. The contestants showcased their eloquence, comprehensive research, and ability to articulate their viewpoints with confidence and coherence.
The participants' speeches were evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges comprised of experienced faculty members and experts, ensuring a fair assessment.
At the end of the competition, the Edward House emerged victorious, securing the first position with their well-reasoned arguments and impressive delivery. The winners were awarded certificates of achievement and commendation, along with a token of appreciation from the school.
