"The Sparkling Celebration”: Independence Day
Independence Day is a significant day for every Indian, as it marks freedom and liberation from British rule. Cambrian Hall, organised a grand celebration on Independence Day, featuring speeches, school songs, dances, and an address by the Principal.
The event was organised in the school auditorium and was attended by the President, the Director, the Principal, teachers and students. The program began with a speech in English, delivered by the head boy of the school and Hindi speech was delivered by the head girl of the school. The speech emphasised the importance of Independence Day and highlighted the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
To enhance the patriotic atmosphere, the school choir performed a patriotic song with great enthusiasm and energy. Their melodious voices echoed through the auditorium, filling the hearts of everyone present with pride for their school and country.
Dance performances were also included in the program, performed by talented students.
Lastly, the Principal addressed the gathering, delivering an inspiring speech on the significance of Independence Day and the responsibilities of students towards their country. The Principal encouraged students to uphold the values of freedom, unity, and diversity, urging them to contribute positively to society.
Everyone left with a box of sweets in their hands, smiles on their faces and an unwavering spirit of patriotism in their hearts.
