Delving in the Past : A Trip to Survey of India Museum
The educational trip to the Survey of India Museum at the Geodetic and Research Branch, Dehradun, conducted by Cambrian Hall School on 30th April 2024 was an experience beyond words.
The trip was organized for Class X. The museum focused on the Map of India and many instruments that were used during the survey including theodolites, levels, distance measuring equipment, old calculators, etc.
The students also had the opportunity to learn modern mapping technology, including GPS.
Overall, our visit to the Survey of India Museum was an enriching and informative experience.
