School Orientation

An interesting orientation program was held at Cambrian Hall from April 29 to May 1, 2024, that was all about holistic development. Dr. Annie Singh led the session, and she had some fantastic insights to share with parents. Her focus was on making students feel happy and welcome in the school environment, and she emphasized the importance of parents' involvement in achieving this goal.

One of the key takeaways from the session was the significance of communication. Dr. Annie Singh urged parents to engage with their children and participate in school activities. She also asked them to limit their mobile usage and refrain from comparing their children with others. Instead, she encouraged them to become role models for their children and adopt discipline as a lifestyle.

The session also included strategies for positive discipline and highlighted common causes of family friction, such as relationships with siblings and the impact of excessive mobile use. Dr. R. C Uniyal, the Vice Principal, joined the session and talked about promotion criteria, exam schedules, SEE learning, robotics, and AI. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining good attendance and bringing the correct books to school.

Dr. Uniyal expressed his gratitude to all the parents and staff for their contributions to the school community. Overall, the Orientation session at Cambrian Hall was a great success, and it emphasized the importance of holistic development, positive discipline, and parental involvement in creating a supportive and nurturing environment for students.
